In Schrems (Gmünd district), a Turkish wedding with 700 people has become the starting point for a group of coronaviruses. There are currently 13 positive cases and 150 people in quarantine.
This was announced by the state medical personnel of the APA. “They lied to us about the contacts for a week,” the district captain of the “Niederösterreichische Nachrichten” (“NÖN”) district Stefan Grusch quoted on Tuesday.
BH rages: no full visitor list yet
Following the Sept. 12 event, authorities still did not have a full list of visitors to track contacts. “Time passes when more contacts can be made and the virus can happily spread,” Grusch told “NÖN”. “I will inform the prosecution of anyone who has lied to us. This is a public risk to the entire district.”
Another wedding in Schrems: 13 corona cases and 150 people in quarantine
“Some test results are still pending, but all suspected cases have been segregated and all contact persons are quarantined at home,” Grusch said in an afternoon broadcast. Basically, it should be noted that “the wedding visitors, realizing the urgency of the situation, quickly reported to 1450,” he continued. “Surveys and contact tracing regarding the wedding at Schrems are currently ongoing,” state medical personnel said. It cannot be ruled out that the coronavirus group continues to grow.
Other corona cases in relation to Krems nightclub
In connection with the Krems nightclub “Q-Stall”, two more cases of coronavirus were recorded, the total number of sick people increased to 28. The group also affects the “Danube Private University” in Krems. “The projections have ended here and all the findings have come in,” said the office of state health adviser Ulrike Königsberger-Ludwig (SPÖ).
In relation to the frequent cases around a twilight bottle in a pub in the Zwettl district, the number of patients dropped to 31. Several people have already been considered recovered. “There may be more cases, but there will probably be no explosive spread,” said the spokesman for the state councilor.
