Russia recorded more than 6,000 coronavirus cases for the first time in two months. The number of infections detected increased in 24 hours by 6,065 to more than 1,097 million, according to authorities. The death toll increased from 144 to 19,339. More than 2,000 new infections in Germany

Denmark has recorded the highest daily number of new corona infections since the start of the pandemic. Indonesia and the Philippines continue to have many new infections
