Fewer people tested positive for the coronavirus again.

The number of new infections from Saturday to Sunday dropped significantly – only 463 people tested positive for the corona virus. On Saturday 869 tested positive.
The number of new coronavirus infections has not only decreased in Vienna, but throughout Austria: on Sunday, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Health reported 463 cases, corresponding to only about half of the 869 positive results from Saturday’s tests.
44 people in intensive care units
So far there have been 33,159 positive results in Austria. As of Sunday (9.30 a.m.), 756 people have died from the consequences of the coronavirus and 26,760 have recovered. There are currently 226 people in hospital treatment for the corona virus, 44 of them in intensive care units.
New infections by federal state:

- Lower Austria: 92
- Upper Austria: 52
- Salzburg: 17
- Steiermark: 29
- Tyrol: 51
- Vorarlberg: 49
- Vienna: 149
