More clusters of coronavirus have appeared in Lower Austria. In the vicinity of the Lower Austrian sports center in St. Pölten, seven people tested positive for the virus, and there was also a suspected case, a spokesman for Health Councilor Ulrike Königsberger-Ludwig (SPÖ) said on Sunday.
“The athletes showed no symptoms”
The cases were noted during a preventive investigation. “The athletes were showing no symptoms before the tests and are still symptom free,” Andreas Worenz, the center’s sports coordinator, said in a broadcast. Until a new test scheduled for Tuesday, affected groups should be informed online and training plans drawn up at home.
Positive cases after twilight pint
“The picture is similar to that of the previous days,” said the spokesman. A “small group” also turned up at the Waldviertel: six participants in a twilight bar at an inn tested positive. Another sick person was reported in connection with a bakery in Hagenbrunn (Korneuburg district), thus the number of infected people here increased to 18.
