The dispute over the crown traffic light is not going to go away for now. In Vienna, they expected to turn yellow at first, according to the office of Health Councilor Peter Hacker (SPÖ). However, it is not understood that other regions with similar seven-day case numbers and other corona comparison categories did not outperform this fate. For now, only Vienna, Linz, Graz and the Tyrolean district of Kufstein are not green. The Minister of Health, Rudolf Anschober (Greens), however, already indicated in the presentation of the traffic lights that Wiener Neustadt, Wels, Innsbruck, Linz-Land and Eisenstadt-Umgebung “would blink a little yellow”. However, they were saved from the adjustment announced for the moment. Councilor Hacker also suspected punishment for cities that have a red mayor. The next traffic light will be posted again next Friday.
