The additional death is a 77-year-old man with previous illnesses. 6,824 people have been recovered. The 1,450 health hotline has received 1,840 calls.
On Saturday, the Vienna State Medical Directorate and the Vienna City Medical Crisis Team confirmed 8,822 positive tests for coronavirus. On Friday the figure was 8,616 positive tests, corresponding to an increase of 206 cases. 6,725 people had recovered, that number increased by 141 cases from Friday to Saturday. The 1450 health hotline had received 2,441 calls.
Corona’s traffic light is yellow
In Vienna, the Corona traffic light recently introduced by the government is currently yellow. From this point on, other measures can be implemented in addition to protecting the mouth and nose. The regulations for the yellow light zone events are expected to go into effect on October 1.
