The number of infected continues to decrease

The number of Austrians infected with the coronavirus continues to decline. According to the Ministry of Health, 1,111 people had Covid-19 on Monday (as of 9:30 a.m.). Vienna re-registered the most active patients with 469 confirmed cases. However, this number is also decreasing in the federal capital. More than 500 had been reported on Sunday.
According to the Ministry in Austria, 279 people are currently seriously ill with Covid-19. They are cared for in hospitals. There are almost no hospitalizations in Carinthia (one patient), Vorarlberg (two) and Burgenland (three). Only nine people currently suffering from the virus were reported from Carinthia on Monday. In the metropolis of Vienna there are 102 patients in hospitals, Lower Austria continues to rank second in this statistic with its 69th Intensive Care 23 in Lower Austria and 20 in Vienna.
So far there have been 15,792 positive results, of which 620 in Austria have died from coronavirus disease and 14,061 have recovered. The number of tests is now 319,484. The most tried was in Vienna with more than 70,000, in Tyrol it is just under 60,000 (59,430).
