Currently, companies can take advantage of the special short-term work scheme twice three months.
Than AMS (Arbeitsmarktservice) hat per 1. Euro genehmigt. In early May, a total of 104,000 short-term job applications were being processed, of which there was sufficient information for around 100,000 applications. These applications cover 1.25 million jobs. On Monday, the Ministry of Labor will publish current figures on short-term work and the labor market.
AMS reimburses the employer for hours lost due to short-term work.
