The number of people with coronavirus continues to decline. Only 1,290 actively infected people were reported across Austria on Saturday.
The number of people currently suffering from coronavirus in Austria has dropped below 1,300. Statistics from the Interior Ministry showed 1,290 people infected on Saturday (9:00 a.m.), which is less than 34 compared to Friday.
309 people were hospitalized on Saturday morning, 79 were in intensive care units. That’s 30 or two less than 24 hours before.
1,290 people in Austria still suffer from corona virus
The total number of all infected in Austria is 15,833 people, 13,928 have recovered and 615 have died. That means an increase in the death toll since Friday.
According to the Ministry of Health, 57 percent of deaths now mean significantly more men than women. According to age groups, those over 85 with 235 victims were the most affected, 217 among those between 75 and 84 years old and 94 among those between 65 and 74 years. The rest of the victims were younger.
