Next week the Bundesliga soccer teams will start training in small groups, the start they are preparing for remained open at yesterday’s club conference. The ball is back with the federal government: Christian Ebenbauer, a member of the Bundesliga board, awaits regulation on Monday, which sets the framework for the sport, and next Friday there will be another club conference. Ebenbauer: “Safety comes before speed”.
On Monday, after announcements from vice chancellor and sports minister Werner Kogler, the LASK league leader and the Salzburg pursuer had planned to start training in small groups. According to Ebenbauer, this will be postponed until Tuesday. Questions before continuing the game:

“As soon as possible”, wishes Ebenbauer, but the Bundesliga depends on the submission of the policy. Starting next week only small group training is allowed. Units and Ministry of Health approval are required for units of the entire team without a gap.

Ebenbauer aims to restart in mid-May. Then there would be enough time to finish the championship before June 30. However, UEFA has already announced that the season could be extended, ÖFB would have to decide the detention time.

In English weeks, the remaining ten rounds program is drawn into the master group and the grade group. The game is played on Wednesdays / Thursdays and Saturdays / Sundays. The ÖFB Cup final between Salzburg and Lustenau should start. The Europa League tie within the Bundesliga has not been sacrificed so far.

As in all other leagues: results are canceled, the season is not counted. For the nomination of the European Cup holders, the table is used after the end of the basic round, even if more rounds can be made: LASK Leader then goes on to the Champions League play-off, hunter Salzburg plays in the second round of the Champions League classification. The final of the cup decides on the distribution of seats in the Europa League.

Last Monday, licenses for the Bundesliga and approvals for the second division should have been issued. UEFA has already given instructions that it is not necessary to evaluate the forward looking indicators. The Bundesliga will adjust the procedure to the circumstances at a general meeting in early May. Licenses and approvals will be issued in mid-May.
