Asus Z490 motherboards for socket 1200

Asus has introduced a range of new Z490 motherboards for 1200 socket. Individual motherboard models vary greatly in price and equipment – both bargain hunters and high-end enthusiasts should find something here.

Just in time for the launch of Intel’s new 10th generation core processors, third-party manufacturers are doing the same and bringing the right motherboards for the socket 1200 to market. Asus has now released a range of Z490 motherboards to game designed to meet the needs of high-end enthusiasts, game fans, and content creators.

Asus offers a total of 15 different motherboard models, including:

  • ROG Maximus XII Extreme for € 999
  • ROG Maximus XII Formula for € 515
  • ROG Maximus XII Hero (Wi-Fi) for € 431
  • ROG Strix Z490-A Gaming for € 266
  • ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming for € 313
  • ROG Strix Z490-F Gaming for € 278
  • ROG Strix Z490-G Gaming (Wi-Fi) for € 254
  • ROG Strix Z490-H Gaming for € 254
  • ROG Strix Z490-I Gaming for € 311
  • TUF Gaming Z490-Plus for € 207
  • TUF Gaming Z490-Plus (Wi-Fi) for € 219
  • ProArt Z490-CREATOR 10G
  • Prime Z490-A for € 241
  • Prime Z490M-Plus for € 171
  • Prime Z490-P for € 183

The motherboards, which are available in EATX, ATX and Mini-ITX form factors, have slots for DDR4-RAM with up to 4800 MHz, integrated WiFi controllers (not all models), USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and slot-based PCIe x16. Most Z490 series motherboards also use Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. Detailed specifications of each motherboard can be found on the manufacturer’s official website.

Asus states that the aforementioned motherboards of the ASUS and ROG-Z490 series will be available for pre-order in Germany and Austria from May 6, 2020. According to the manufacturer, delivery will be made from May 20, 2020.
