Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will have Mortal Kombat-style X-ray gore

With Assassin’s Creed Valhalla As this November approaches, we will see more of the extensive open world Viking action game, both inside and out. This is because fans can witness brutal murders in a complete X-ray vision, a first for the series. It’s like watching the autopsy scenes of CSI except that instead of solving murders, you’re causing them.

These gruesome deaths first appeared in a recent gameplay trailer, leading fans to think it was just a bit flourishing. But, according to a tweet from game director Benoit Richer, Valhalla will allow players to activate them in-game. In a pop-up gif, you can see the main character, Eivor, not only stab an enemy but plunge his sword into his guts and fat. Everything is very Mortal Kombat, and definitely speaks of the brutality of the environment.

This feature appears to be optional, or at least relatively rare; during the Polygon three-hour preview ValhallaOur Eivor did not complete a single X-ray finisher, despite many ax attacks and fights with other Vikings. This may also be something that appears in the murders themselves; we’ll have to see closer to the November release date.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla It will launch on November 17, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. The game will also be coming to next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
