Ubisoft has released a brief preview for its next Ubi Forward digital showcase, which will take place on July 12.
The brief preview gives us a glimpse of some of the games we’ll be seeing during the upcoming event, with visions of some of Ubisoft’s most anticipated titles, including Watch Dogs: Legion, Assassins Creed Valhalla, and Hyper Scape.

The first image you can see shows a photo of London Bridge with the word “Severe” on either side. We know that the upcoming Watch Dogs: Legion hacking RPG is set in a post-Brexit alternate reality in the UK, where you’ll be able to explore futuristic London, so it looks like we can expect to see more of the game during the event. After it was initially delayed, Watch Dogs: Legion currently doesn’t have a set release date other than 2020, so perhaps the storefront will confirm when we can expect to jump into this adventure.
We can also see shots of landscapes that scream Assassins Creed Valhalla. Set in England and Norway during the Middle Ages, you will play as a Viking assassin named Eivor who is “in search of glory”. With an open-world environment to explore, tons of character customization options like tattoos and hairstyles, and the option to play as a man or a woman, the next adventure will follow in the footsteps of Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassins Creed Odyssey and build on the RPG aspects of the franchise.
Due to the launch of Holiday 2020, Valhalla will launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X, as well as on current generation consoles. We’ve already seen some glimpses of the game in previous windows, but we hope to get a more detailed look at some games during UbiFoward.
And finally, you can also see panoramic shots of Hyper Scape, Ubisoft’s upcoming free cyberpunk battle royale that has just been announced. The game will initially launch on PC first, before landing on consoles at a later date, and it looks like we’ll soon see more of what awaits us in Ubisoft’s version of the Battle Royale genre.
Keep up to date with all the latest releases on the go with our roundup of all upcoming games 2020.
