The two share son Cameron, who turns 4 next month
Ashlee, the ex’s daughter New Jersey Royal Housewives Star Jacqueline Laurita announced the news to her followers on Instagram on Wednesday.
“I have been trying to find the right words to share this news,” his statement began. “It is something that has been weighing heavily on my heart, and I feel that the best thing for my healing process is to put it into practice.”
“Many of you have sent me so many messages in the past few months. Some of you have even left comments on certain posts of mine with speculation. I have always been an incredibly open and honest person. Although no one is entitled to the details of my private life, I have always chosen to share them with you, “he continued. “I acknowledge and understand the fact that such an important part of my life has been documented on television. Those of you who follow my husband Pete and me on social media have naturally invested in our lives over the years. That said, Pete and I have decided to part. “

The 29-year-old makeup artist said she and her estranged husband remain committed to parenting their son Cameron Hendrix, who will turn 4 next month.
“Pete and I have been through a lot together over the past ten years of our lives, not just as best friends, but as partners in parenting navigation,” he wrote. “This was a difficult decision for us. We intend to always be in each other’s lives and continue to support each other as we grow up to be parents to our son Cameron, whom we both love more than anything.”
“Our new goal on our journey through life together is to become the best parents we are capable of being,” he continued. “Regardless of your views, we ask that you think of our son and do everything you can to respect our family during this time. There are many more devastating things happening in the world right now to worry about.” ‘Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this. Please stay safe! “
Ashlee and Pete got engaged in February 2016. A month later, they announced that they were expecting their first child together. They welcomed baby Cameron that August.
The two were married in the city clerk’s office in Manhattan in August 2018.
“It’s official … Mr. and Mrs.,” Ashlee captioned a photo of the couple at the time.
Ashlee’s mother, Laurita, 50, was a member of the cast of Bravo RHONJ from seasons 1-7.
The reality star is also the mother of children CJ, 18, and Nicholas, 11, with her husband Chris Laurita.
