Arturo Vidal warns Bayern ahead of Champions League clash

Arturo Vidal knows that Bayern Munich are confident of reaching the quarter-finals of Friday’s Champions League, but has warned his former team that they will face a tough test against Barcelona.

The Bundesliga champions are favorites to win the game and advance to the semi-finals, but Vidal reckons his team remains a force to be reckoned with.

Vidal also said that the Barca players want to prove themselves after a difficult season that saw them lose their La Liga title to rivals Real Madrid.

“Bayern will be confident, but they need to know that they are not playing an old team in the Bundesliga tomorrow, they are playing against Barca,” he said.

‘I understand the pessimism, but we are the best team in the world. The problem is that we do not always show it on the field and we have lost the league recently. But we have Leo, we have the best players and we want to prove ourselves. ”

Vidal is expected to return to the starting XI of Quique Setien for Friday’s game after missing the last-16 second-leg win against Napoli due to suspension.
