The tech giant usually announces its latest and greatest iPhone around mid-September, but according to Apple Suthersair Mark Gurman at Bloomberg, the September 15 event will not be for the iPhone, but for the Apple Watch and iPad.
While that means we may have to wait a little longer to take a look at the iPhone 12 and its 5G capabilities, it’s not exactly unexpected. Apple Play has already said it will release its iPhone a few weeks later than the usual September time frame due to production delays. It tends to happen when you’re putting together one of your expected devices over the years amid a global epidemic.
