Apple today named eight game and application developers who received an Apple Design Award, each selected for being thoughtful and creative. Apple Design Award winners bring distinctive new ideas to life and demonstrate deep mastery of Apple technology. The applications come from big and small developers, all over the world, and offer users new ways to work, create and play.

Past honorees have created some of the most remarkable applications and games of all time. Through their vision, determination and exacting standards, winning developers inspire not only their peers in the Apple developer community, but all of us at Apple as well. ”
