Apex Legends Update 1.44 released for fixes and tweaks

Respawn Entertainment has released a new Apex Legends patch which should already be available on PC. Console gamers will see this as Apex Legends update 1.44, and includes a fair number of fixes! Read below for the full patch notes.

Addresses the following:

  • Rampart Amped Wall client failure in soft gore locations
  • Fix a server bug that caused an immediate disconnect when Rampart crashed a wall
  • Fix an error caused in some cases where a player sits on the Rampart tower when it is destroyed
  • Problem getting specific Bloodhound skin from an extended neck when using Rampart turret. We’re still working on this issue for Lifeline’s Guardian Angel skin
  • Rampart’s “Boom” finisherline of playing across the map
  • Do not display Kill Tracking for R-99

In addition, we’ll be releasing a playlist update later today to do the following:

  • Reduce damage from devotion [17 -> 16] , and increases record – these are rapid changes we can make now, more adjustments to Devotion that take more time to do will come later.
  • Reduce the number of clues and turbochargers spawned
  • Reduced number of gold helmets, gold backpacks and gold caps

We are still looking for tweaks and changes to come in the coming weeks.

Remember, we just got the Apex Legends Season 6 patch earlier this week, which introduced Rampart, a new SMG and more! Read more here for more info.
