Apex Legends developer debunks Rampart’s ‘leaked’ abilities

Apex Legends writer Tom Casiello has debunked rumors about Rampart’s previously ‘leaked’ abilities, noting that they are quite old.

Since the first season of Apex Legends, there have been numerous leaks and rumors about the new legends that Respawn has aligned, including his alleged abilities, concept art, and more.

As the expectation for the sixth season increases, battle royale fans await a new legend. Previous leaks have suggested it would be either the ‘Valk / Nova’ character or the Long-awaited wall.

However, if it’s Rampart, the character won’t come with the previously leaked abilities that have caused fans to raise an eyebrow when Apex Legends writer Tom Casiello put those rumors to bed.

Rampart has been part of the Apex leaks since the first season.

The writer had been tweeting with fans about the future of the battle royale, noting that there are some juicy Lifeline tradition in process and that the developers even have content that will be in the game in two years.

After they called in a fanatic for disrupting their impromptu questions and answers with the ‘leaked’ skills for Rampart, which includes the latest eye-lifting mounted machine gun, Casiello replied quickly.

“He has the balls to respond with * old * leaked content,” said the writer. “Clock. Next, I bet it tells you that Revenant’s original name was nomadic.

Given that the writer dismissed these abilities as old, it would appear that Rampart is still coming at some point, but with entirely new abilities.

What they would be, however, is unknown. Leakers have discovered the abilities before legends were introduced, with Loba being the most recent example of that. So it will be a case of waiting and see if they can get more concrete files on the upcoming legends.
