“Let’s make a deal, Mr. President: You’re releasing your college transcript, I’ll release mine, and we’ll see who the better student was. Loser has to fund the Post Office,” she tweeted, taking a count from Mr. Trump’s attempt to undermine the U.S. Postal Service ahead of the November presidential election is expected to be carried out with millions more post-vote votes than usual.
The president is unlikely to attend such a trade-off, as he has been very protective of his grades and standardized test results of his time in high school and college.
His former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, told Congress last year that Mr. Trump told him to send letters to his alma-mates threatening prison time to anyone who releases his degrees to the press.
“I’m talking about a man who declares himself brilliant, but has directed me to threaten his high school, his colleges and the College Board to never release his grades or SAT scores,” says Mr. Cohen, who ‘ t faces a three-year prison sentence for previously lying before Congress, lawmakers told the House committee.
Mr. Trump and the GOP have given Ms Ocasio-Cortez more brilliance than members of Congress typically receive, allowing her and other young progressive women of color the new boogeywomen of their negative campaign advertising against Democrats nationwide.
Democrats have condemned the excessive focus on Ms Ocasio-Cortez and Congresswomen Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts as a racist reaction against the wave of the minority of women who are the most white, mostly male conventions challenge legislation in the US.
Mr. However, Trump has predicted political success for Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, and has said on several occasions that he believes she will successfully challenge Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in the New York Senate Democratic primary in 2022.
‘Schumer will strike through them. She will turn against Schumer, and he knows that and he will be beaten by her unless you can talk to her about it. “He has no chance,” he said Fox Business on Thursday.
Mr. Schumer was elected in 2016 to his fourth term as senator from New York.
