WASHINGTON – China would take over the United States as the world power and force Americans to learn Chinese if Joe Biden wins the election, President Trump said Tuesday.
“China will possess the United States if this election is lost by Donald Trump. “If I do not win the election, China will have the United States,” Trump said in an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt.
“You’ll have to learn Chinese, you want to know the truth,” he said, referring to the official language of China, which is Mandarin.
The president was asked about a recent intelligence report that concluded that China would prefer Biden to win the November presidential election.
“They’ll have the United States if he wins, and with me they had the worst year in 67 years because I’d get the hell out of them,” Trump said.
“We took in billions and billions of dollars. I gave it to the farmers because they were targets, and I put the rest in the United States ‘treasury.’
The president also said that his relationship with Chinese President Xi Jinping had been too bad in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
“I had a very good relationship with President Xi. I would even say better than good. I would say we had a great relationship. He’s a great gentleman, ‘he said.
“But my relationship is no longer very good with him because of what they did with the China virus.”
