MOUNTAIN. JULIET, Tennessee (WTVF) – Governor Bill Lee announced Friday that Amazon will open a new state-of-the-art fulfillment center at Mt. Juliet
The state said in a statement that the 855,000-square-foot fulfillment center will create 1,000 new jobs and is expected to launch in 2021.
“As Wilson County continues to recover from recent tornadoes and the COVID-19 crisis, Amazon’s new 1,000-job facility is a major development for Mt. Juliet Tennessee has established itself as a logistics hub, and major Amazon’s investments promise to help the recovery of Wilson County and central Tennessee, ”said Governor Lee.
According to a statement, Mt. Juliet’s facility will be the second Amazon fulfillment center in Tennessee to use robotic technology and marks the company’s seventh fulfillment center in the state.
