We are in the Top Four, squirrel friends. Surely RuPaul will have no other twists for these competitors, right? Turns out, they’ll have to compete in a comedy challenge to determine who will appear in the final episode. Here’s what you might have missed during this week’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 5.

Alexis Mateo has left the competition
For starters, Blair feels all the emotions. Above all, happy to kill another day. Miz Cracker is happy to lose the lip sync, to be honest, because she didn’t want that decision on her shoulders, but she also chose Alexis to go home.
For Shea, her vote for Alexis was also an act of self-preservation because it is unknown what Alexis would have done next. When the top four return to Werk Hall, Miz Cracker reads Alexis’s message and is quite pleasant.
So RuPaul announced what the challenge is this week: a “standup comedy hit.” Miz Cracker, like the top All-star Last week, choose the order in which the girls will enter. Almost instantly, she is nervous about making that decision.
She decides, however, that she will finally prepare for success. Miz Cracker is placed third on the song list. Jujubee will go first, Blair second, and Shea Couleé last, right after Miz Cracker. Jujubee is a little annoyed, but she mostly notes that the true colors of the queens are coming out.
Queens compete in a comedy challenge
One by one, the queens head to the main stage to confirm with Ross Matthews and the famous guest judge … and it’s Jane Krakowski. Jujubee goes first and she throws herself all over her. Jane Krakowski actually says that Jujubee has the advantage of going first. She manages to set the mood for the show. Take that, Miz Cracker!
Blair is next and is also excited to see Jane Krakowski. Both judges love Blair’s jokes. Like, they both say not to change anything. Blair is quite confident. Miz Cracker goes next and receives the opposite criticism. They say his “Ted Talk” performance needs more pranks.
Shea is probably the older version, she says. She is fun in dialogue but like a stand-up comedy routine? She is not used to that. Ross suggests that he should make fun of the Sasha Velor moment. Shea is not exactly at that because she is not exactly at that moment either.
The next day, Shea tells the other queens that she has no supplies, but that the material for her challenge dress is magnificent. Blair, on the other hand, is very confident. Could this be your week to finally win a maxi challenge?
On the track, the category is ‘aww, freak out’
Each queen takes the stage to perform her standing routine. Jujubee laughs a little. Blair is literally silent as she flips through her notes during her performance. Miz Cracker is acting like he would on a show. Shea Couleé decides to make a joke about the rose petals, and she also laughs.
It is quite clear at this point who is going home. However, after the track, where the category is, “aww, freak,” Miz Cracker is the winner of this week’s challenge. After going backstage, Miz Cracker says, once again, that it will be fair and based on challenge as well as history. Blair knows she’s in trouble and starts frantically listing reasons to stay.
When it’s time for Miz Cracker to lip sync, this week’s “killer” is Kennedy Davenport. They perform an unexpected song, “Fancy” by Reba McEntire. Miz Cracker is the winner of lip sync, which means she has the power to eliminate one of the last three. She chooses Blair St. Clair.
Blair walks away, but not without another turn from RuPaul. Right after he announces the top three contestants (Shea Couleé, Miz Cracker, and Jujubee), RuPaul answers a mysterious phone call from an old phone at the judge’s table. Will the eliminated queens return to competition?
