“Danger!” Host Alex Trebek shared a health update on video on Thursday, saying his treatment for pancreatic cancer has been “paying off.”

Trebek, who revealed that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in 2019, added that it had gone so well that he “even wrote a book” during his time away from the study. The memoirs, titled “The answer is … Reflections on my life”, will be published on July 21.
The television personality also announced that “Danger!” It will begin streaming material from its archives this month, including the series’ premiere, which aired in 1984.
“For the first time, we are going to open the ‘Jeopardy’ vault and take a look at some of our ‘Jeopardy’ episodes, including the first show I presented, mustache and all,” Trebek said, adding that he is looking forward to filming again. in the study.
After a brief attempt to record without a studio audience in March, “Jeopardy” discontinued production due to pandemic-related security concerns.

Since revealing his diagnosis, Trebek has worked to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer. In October, she released a 60-second public service announcement in support of the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition, detailing the risks and symptoms of the disease.
