Airbnb offers $ 4 themed sleepovers from the world’s latest blockbuster

The world’s latest blockbuster has created a ‘living room’ for series of Airbnb sleepovers.

Blockbuster

Money can buy nostalgia at the rate of $ 4 a night around the world’s latest Blockbuster video store in Bend, Oregon. Later this month, the Blockbuster and its utopian promise of VHS-powered movie nights will be available as a temporary Airbnb complete with a pull-out couch, bean bags and unconfirmed access to the store’s movie collection.

Yes, a VHS player is available.

The store is described as “an ode to film magic, simpler times and the sense of community that could once be found in Blockbuster locations around the world.”

Unfortunately for most of us, there are many restrictions on who can book a sleepover. You must be a resident of Deschutes County and all guests must come from the same household. Friends, parties, smoking, drugs and pets are not allowed.

Booking applications open on August 17th. There will be three overnight stays available on September 18, September 19 and September 20. The store can accommodate a maximum of four people for each slaughter number.

While the store has a bathroom, it does not have a shower. There will be snacks, however, including popcorn, Gobstoppers, Nerds, Raisinets and Laffy Taffy. The store management has also promised “endless hand disinfectant.”

Please note that although this is normally a fully functioning shop, we will pick up pick-up on the date of your stay – that will take place outside the shop hours – so that the shop is cleaned and prepared in accordance with CDC guidelines and consistent with the improved Airbnb cleaning protocol, “states the house rules.

There is one last rule where guests must follow: “Be friendly, flush back! (And have fun!).” May all your throwback dreams from the 90s, you lucky Blockbuster Airbnbers.
