Misinformation about the vaccine is still widespread on the Internet. And according to tech companies, given their struggles to address its spread, it’s a complex web to tangle. But maybe it’s not. A joint report by the Center for Countering Digital Hats (CCDH) and Anti-Vaccine Watch found that 73 per cent of vaccine misinformation on Facebook and 1 per cent of vaccine misinformation on Twitter could reach 12 people. Only twelve!
Accounts will avoid restrictions regardless of growth through Facebook and Twitter. The reports in both platforms draw attention to the huge numbers of tweets removed or profiles blocked, but the reality is that disinformation continues to revolve, especially around these particular dissociation superstriders. Later today, the CEOs of Twitter, Facebook and Google will testify before Congress about the spread of ambiguity.

There are three new models.
Dyson is very aware that we all spend more time indoors, and more time in our own homes. At the (opposite) microscopic level, that means we are all shedding more skin cells and hair on our floors, carpets and lumps. Diazen’s new stick vacuum models, at different sizes and prices, claim to provide a level of cleanliness you can definitely see – and some use lasers to do so.
The Dyson V15 Detect, a $ 699 showcase model for the company’s tech upgrades, includes a green laser diode that shoots the ‘blades’ of green light, which is obviously the best color for the human eye.
The green laser on the V15’s cleaner head has a 1.5 degree angle, 7.2 mm behind the ground. This special distance helps to create the “best contrast between dust and floor” according to a company spokesperson. The unmistakable appeal of the laser beam should make the vacuuming hardwood floor a little more exciting.

Metal Tire is set to be released early next year.
NASA has been channeling its advanced technology into everyday products for decades. Now its tires have turned into a startup called Tech Smart, which uses airless shape memory alloy (SMA) tire technology – originally built for the Moon and Mars rovers – for an airless bicycle tire.
Connected springs are built that do not need to be inflated, supralastic tires, smart claims, are made like titanium to face the rough terrain without flats. The pitch is a puncture-free ride, and if it’s good enough for Mars, it’s good enough for that Sunday’s torment.

It is the first fitness tracker to combine optical and electrical heart-rate monitoring.
MyZone’s chest-strapped heart-rate monitors typically track acute fitness types during their HIIT classes or during connected treadmills and rest use. But the new model from MyZone doesn’t have to wrap around your torso to track your workouts. The company says the MZ-Switch is the world’s first device to monitor both PPG (photoplathizmography) and ECG (electrocardiography) readings for more accurate activity monitoring with fewer “blind spots”.
When you hold an object object, it affects the blood flow in a way that is not properly connected to your efforts, which can affect the wrist-based heart-rate monitor (i.e., most wearables). That said, Maizon says the wrist-based monitor should still be 95% accurate, “for any debilitating activity with repetitive movements,” including swimming, along with more typical activities such as running and HIIT. You can still get faster, more accurate heart-rate read-outs by stripping it on your chest. The MZ-Switch is available for purchase directly from Maizon today, priced at Rs 160.
