JOHANNESBURG – After postponements, last-minute affidavits and conflicting ideas about friendship, Supreme Court Vice President Raymond Zondo announced whether he will recuse himself from the state’s arrest investigation this morning.

Former President Jacob Zuma claims the commission will not treat him fairly because he and Zondo are friends.

But Zondo says that’s not true.

So far, the commission has cost South African taxpayers more than R700 million.
