Microsoft’s next-generation console, the Xbox Series X, will be released later this year, and Xbox boss Phil Spencer believes it could offer a significant change for gaming. He recently said on social media that the Xbox X Series could introduce a change in the way games feel that is as dramatic as the change from 2D to 3D graphics.
Writing on TwitterSpencer said the “feel” of Xbox Series X games will be much better thanks to the system’s advanced CPU and more.
“In my opinion, the feel of this next generation gaming will change as dramatically as any from 2D to 3D, given the upgrade of the CPU, DLI, memory bandwidth and SSD,” he said.
Spencer added that he is also personally awaiting the advancements that ray tracing enables in the console, while also calling Dynamic Latency Entry (DLI). This is a new technology that allows the controller to stay in sync with the game better than ever for analog and digital inputs. “The most up-to-date entry to date arrives at the console just before the game needs it. The result: significantly less controller latency,” Microsoft said of this new technology.
Spencer is in the business of selling Xbox consoles, so she is expected to try to increase interest and excitement for the Xbox Series X. Whether or not the next-gen console really allows the kind of step change you’re promoting, keep going. being seen
Xbox Series X launches this holiday with Halo Infinite as the launch title. Or at least that’s the plan right now. Spencer recently said that while he is confident that the hardware will be released on time, he commented that some titles might slip.
We may not have to wait much longer to see more Xbox Series X games, as Spencer recently teased that more game reveal and details may be coming soon. A rumor is that Xbox is planning an event for May, but this is not confirmed for now.
