Two people were injured when the vehicle they were traveling in veered off Chapman’s Peak and rolled down an embankment on Friday.
The woman was airlifted to hospital. He suffered serious injuries, but his partner had minor injuries, said Cape Town city traffic spokeswoman Maxine Bezuidenhout.
“A witness called to report that a car descended 200 meters down the embankment on Friday afternoon. A helicopter and the NSRI arrived in [the] scene, and both people were released. An adult woman in serious condition was flown to the hospital, “Bezuidenhout said.
