A woman has shared her ‘life-changing’ shopping trick, and shoppers around the world praise her for making her trips to the supermarket easier.

Shopper Ebony Hit revealed that when he was at Woolworths recently, he discovered that he can push smaller carts against the side of the self-service kiosk where shoppers often place their baskets.

Small carts fit snugly so you can unload your purchases through the box with ease.

“Am I the only one who just solved this?” Ebony posted on TikTok, along with a video of her pushing her little cart against the side of the self-service kiosk.

“I just found out that the little cart fits in the Woolies self-service!”

This video was shared just a few hours ago, but has already been viewed more than 17,000 times, with hundreds revealing that they had also not realized that the carts fit there.

“I worked at Woolies for three years and had no idea,” a former employee posted below the video.

You’re smarter than me. I’m 43 years old and I just figured this out, ” added another.

While some noted that they have seen you can do this at Coles supermarkets, the vast majority said they have never seen the trick in action.

Hallucinated mind. How could we not know this before? one commenter wrote.

A Woolworths spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia that the store is always trying to make improvements for customers:

“We know that some customers prefer mid-size carts over baskets for their store, so at three of our stores we are running a test that allows mid-size carts to slide on the silver platter, freeing up more space in the area payment, ‘said the spokesperson.

“We are always looking for ways to make the in-store customer experience more convenient, and we will review this initiative before implementing it more widely.”

Currently, the test is only conducted at three stores in New South Wales; Kellyville, North Kellyville and Schofields.

This is not the first supermarket shopping trick to grab the attention of the Internet.

Earlier this year, a mother revealed the simple way she does grocery shopping with her kids in tow, and all she needs is a $ 1.50 Kmart ice tray and a pair of stroller pins.

Posting on Facebook, Lauren wrote that shopping can often be a distraction when you take your kids with you, as they try to get you to throw away extra, unhealthy items.

But if you want to shop in peace, all you need to do is put the kids in the grocery cart seat and place the ice tray with the two pins on your stroller.

Then put some snacks like fruit, cereal, dried fruit, and yogurt-covered rice cakes inside the ice cube tray, and the kids should be distracted while concentrating on buying the weekly meal plan.
