Following their home loss to Leicester City last week, Manchester City hope to get their 2020/21 Premier League campaign back on track with a win on Sunday, as Pep Guardiola’s side travel to Elland Road to face the newly promoted Leeds United.
Guardiola is still without Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Agüero for this game, so Raheem Sterling is likely to play centrally here, with Ferran Torres and Phil Foden in the open positions.
New signing Ruben Dias could also make his debut, with John Stones, Joao Cancelo and Ilkay Gundogan set to miss the game this weekend.

Leeds United vs Man City predicted score with FIFA 21
To set up this simulation, we used the home mode within FIFA 21, but we did not select a team to control; then we selected the teams and watched the game unfold on its own. The AI difficulty was set to Legendary, with the lineup updated with the latest transfers, injuries, and suspensions.
We predict that Leeds United could be set up in a 4-1-4-1 formation, with the lineup as follows: Meslier; Ayling, Koch, Cooper, Dallas; Phillips; Costa, Klich, Rodrigo, Alioski; Bamford.
We predict that City could be set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with the lineup as follows: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Ake, Mendy; Rodri, De Bruyne, Fernandinho; Torres, Sterling, Foden.
City were the dominant force in this simulated game, with the visiting team scoring two quick goals in the first half to put them in control.
With ten minutes left on the clock, a brilliant passing play from City brought Kevin De Bruyne to a clear view of the goal, and the Belgian midfielder was right with a brilliant shot.
And just nine minutes later it was 2-0, with Fernandinho scoring a rare goal for City, as the Brazilian found himself unmarked at the back post to score another sweeping play.
City continued to dominate the game in the second half and despite a late period of pressure from Leeds United, they were unable to test Ederson in City’s goal during this match.
In the end, City ran out of comfortable winners at Elland Road, with Guardiola’s side in control at all times.
Final result: Leeds United 0-2 Man City
Here are the statistics for the full-time matches:
As can be seen from the post-match stats, this was a completely dominant performance from Man City, with Leeds unable to get the possession or the chances they would have hoped for in this game as goals from De Bruyne and Fernandinho secured a 2 – 0 win.
