On April 24, VIVO officially launched the new Y series product, namely the VIVO Y50. The latter comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, a 5000 mAh battery and a rear quad camera.
As stated, one of the highlights of the VIVO Y50 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. It also has up to 8GB of LPDDR4X memory and 128GB of storage. It uses a three-card slot design and supports up to 256GB of memory expansion. There’s also a Qualcomm Snapdragon X12 baseband, which supports a maximum downlink speed of 400Mbps, and Wi-Fi that supports 802.11ac with MU-MIMO technology.
In terms of battery life, the VIVO Y50 has a built-in 5000 mAh battery and supports 18W dual motor flash charging.
The phone also uses a 6.53-inch perforated screen, with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 FHD + and a screen ratio of 90.7%.
Well, although these are considered the selling points of the VIVO Y50, it agrees that they are not high-end features. So the real selling point of this phone should be the quad camera on the back. However, up front, it carries a 16MP selfie shooter, which can identify 103 basis points of facial features. As for the main camera, it consists of a 13MP lens (F / 2.2 wide aperture, PDAF), an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens. Incidentally, the wide-angle lens provides a 120 ° field of view, while the macro lens provides a minimum focus distance of 4 cm. Finally, the depth of field lens helps the camera blur the background.
The VIVO Y50 comes in three colors: Obsidian Black, Serpentine Silver, and Glacier Blue. The starting price is 1698 yuan ($ 240). Today, the new machine is fully available online and offline on all major platforms.
