José Mourinho was certainly satisfied on the pitch after watching his team watch a 2-0 win over Manchester City in North London last night.
The Spurs took the lead early on when Heung-min Son was cleared by Tanguy Ndombele, with the South Korean squeezing his shot between the legs of a running Ederson.
The Lilywhites then sat back and defended for their lives for the vast majority of the game, until a breakaway sent Giovani Lo Celso into the area. The Argentine was not wrong, taking the game beyond City.
Mourinho spoke about team spirit and togetherness in his post-game interview, stating that Spurs were now a team that could make fans proud.

“Big hearts, a lot of solidarity, a suitable team. A team that I think makes Tottenham fans proud ”.
