This is how the family of a girl from Vanderbijlpark feels after the conviction of her kidnappers on Thursday.
Former teacher Katharina Human and her co-defendant received between five and ten years for kidnapping and were also convicted of attempted extortion.
They had everything He pleaded guilty to kidnapping the 6-year-old outside a school in September last year.

Katharina Human, Laetitia Nel, Pieter van Zyl and Bafokeng Molemohi reached an agreement with the state and admitted their crime.
Human, a 28-year-old former teacher nicknamed the Mastermind, will spend ten years in prison.
Nel, who was granted bail of 25,000 rand last October for being the first to confess, will spend five years in jail.

Van Zyl is expected to serve eight years behind bars and MOlemohi is expected to spend seven years in jail.
During the mitigation and aggravation of the sentence there is a child who was left traumatized.
All of the defendants dismissed any speculation that someone else was involved in the crime.
The sentences for all defendants are effective immediately.
