Louis van Gaal has claimed that Marcus Rashford has hinted at a possible departure from Manchester United in the future.

“And the way he’s fighting for the underprivileged kids is wonderful. He does many things for the community. He’s a great kid.
“I enjoyed hearing him say that he hopes to play for United for a long, long time.
But I listened carefully. And he didn’t say he would never play for another club. ”

However, this is an extreme form of reading between the lines of Van Gaal. And to be very honest, Rashford cannot be expected to rule out leaving the club entirely.
He is only 23 years old and nobody knows what the future holds. Soccer is a sport where things change very fast. And although he is one of the best stars at Old Trafford right now, there is no guarantee that things will not change in the future.
