JOHANNESBURG – Lottery operator Ithuba National Lottery on Wednesday denied allegations that Tuesday night’s unexpected PowerBall winning numbers were tampered with.
While many lottery players have used a complex series of numbers to win the jackpot, 20 South Africans become millionaires overnight by keeping it simple.

However, Ithuba spokesman Busisiwe Msizi said the sequence was unusual but not uncommon.
