Futures for US stocks fell with Asian stocks and the dollar rose after President Donald Trump said he had tested positive for the coronavirus.
S&P 500 contracts had fallen earlier after the House of Representatives passed a $ 2.2 trillion fiscal stimulus package for Democrats alone that Republicans reject.
Trump said in a tweet that he and first lady Melania Trump tested positive for Covid-19. The president said they will begin “the quarantine and recovery process immediately.”

Hicks traveled with Trump aboard Air Force One to and from Tuesday’s presidential debate and to a rally in Minnesota on Wednesday. She He felt badly in Minnesota and quarantined aboard the presidential plane on the way home, according to people familiar with the matter.
