WASHINGTON – US President Donald Trump, apparently upset by Meghan Markle’s recent comments about the upcoming election, blasted the actress Wednesday, saying she was “not a fan” and wishing her husband, Prince Harry, a ironic “good luck”.
Markle, the first Suits star and current Duchess of Sussex, urged Americans to vote during an ABC primetime special on Tuesday, telling viewers: “Every four years, we are told, ‘This is the most important election of our life.’ But this one is. “
When asked about the actress’ recent comments, Trump told reporters, “I’m not a fan of hers” before adding, “I wish Harry the best of luck, because he’s going to need her.”
Harry, who appeared alongside Markle in their first joint television appearance since leaving Britain, added: “As we approach November, it is vital that we reject hate speech, misinformation and negativity online.”
Neither Meghan, 39, nor Harry, 36, mentioned Trump directly.

The couple left front-line British royal duties earlier this year and recently moved to California with their one-year-old son, Archie.
“When we vote, our values are put into action and our voices are heard,” Markle said in the special statement. Hour magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people of 2020.
Markle and Harry have spoken of their desire to “do something meaningful, do something that matters” in California, where they plan to launch a wide-ranging nonprofit.
