South African comedian Trevor Noah sold his glamorous mega-mansion in Los Angeles for $ 21.7 million.

That is a whopping R351 million.

The star made headlines last year when he bought the house for $ 20.5 million (R279 million at the time).

The ultra-modern two-story mansion apparently sits on a 1.31-acre property with a breathtaking view of Los Angeles, “infinity pool, 500-gallon saltwater aquarium, home theater, and ultra-private VIP suite.”

According to Variety, the house was never available on the open market, so it’s unclear what changes Trevor made before selling it.

This was not the only house in Trevor’s impressive portfolio, as he also owns a stylish penthouse in New York, from where he has been filming “The Daily Show” during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Trevor shell out around $ 11.49 million (R130m at the time) in 2017 for the ultra-luxurious apartment in Manhattan.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the apartment has stunning views of Midtown and midtown Manhattan from the master bedroom and terrace.

The iconic Empire State Building is also visible from a “cast iron tub in the master bathroom.”

Earlier this month, Trevor made the Fortune 40 Under 40 list of the world’s most influential people.

The prestigious list highlights some of the world’s most powerful emerging leaders in the finance, technology, healthcare, government and politics, and media and entertainment categories.

The entertainment category mixes established stars with some of the brightest emerging talent and includes the likes of “Black Panther” director Ryan Coogler, actress Zendaya, “Insecure” star Issa Rae, Beyoncé, and Trevor Noah himself. Mzansi.

Reflecting on Noah’s career, the publication hailed him as “one of the most visible comedians in the United States and beyond.”
