Western Cape Police are investigating a triple murder and attempted murder, following a shooting in Ravensmead on Friday night. Three of the victims were teenagers.
Detectives from the province’s Anti-Gang Unit have been assigned to the case, confirmed police spokesman Brigadier Novela Potelwa.
“Reports from the scene indicate that at 9:00 p.m. on Friday night, Ravensmead police were called to a house on the Eureka Estate. Upon reaching Fabriek Street, the bodies of two 16-year-olds and a man 45-year-olds were lying outside the house, “Potelwa said.

A white vehicle is believed to have stopped in front of the home and the suspects opened fire, he said.
A fourth person, 18 years old, was injured in the shooting. The victim had already been taken to a medical facility for treatment when police arrived, Potelwa added.
In another incident, Delft police responded to a shooting in an open field at the rear of Liesbeeck Street in Leiden on Friday.
A 29-year-old man was shot and killed by unknown assailants.
