JOHANNESBURG – The South African Student Congress (Things) has asked students not to take a rewrite of the leaked exams.

Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga announced that all Matric students will rewrite the Math Two and Physical Science Two exams after the integrity and credibility of the two documents are compromised.

An employee of a Johannesburg-based company hired by the department to print tuition exams has been arrested following an investigation by the Hawks.

The math work will be written on December 15th and the physical science work will be written on the 17th.

Douglas Ngobeni of Things said they reject Motshekga’s ad.

“The Department of Basic Education has made a mistake by not first involving stakeholders in the education sector when they made that decision.”

Things said he will go to court to challenge the rewrite.
