Former Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois attacked Tottenham by giving his opinion on the transfer of Gareth Bale to José Mourinho’s team.
The current Real Madrid number 1 spent seven years at Stamford Bridge winning two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup before moving to the Santiago Bernabéu in 2018, where he became a teammate with Bale.
Speaking to Spanish media El Larguero about the Welshman’s move, Courtois wished Bale good luck at Spurs, but couldn’t resist sending a blatant message to his old rivals in London.

“What Bale has spoken with the coach is personal,” he said of Bale’s difficult relationship with Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane.
‘I don’t know what he thought, but then they are decisions that each one makes.
“I had a good relationship with Gareth and I wish him the best of luck this year, even if he is not playing for the good London team.
“Is a great player”.

Gareth Bale could once again grace the Premier League for the first time in seven years this week
After seven long years out of the Premier League, Gareth Bale could make his second Tottenham debut against West Ham on Sunday.
Bale has looked good in training all week and the Spurs posted some of their clinical results on Twitter.
In his prime at Tottenham, Bale scored 56 goals and provided 58 assists in 203 appearances between 2007 and 2013.
The Welsh forward will look to recreate that form after struggling to recover at Real Madrid.
