He compared Zuma’s problems to those of anti-apartheid icon Robert Sobukwe.

The foundation also criticized the commission for rejecting “reasonable” proposals that Zuma had made prior to his challenge to the higher court ruling.
“The Jacob G Zuma Foundation has noted that in paragraph 81 of its affidavit, the commission surreptitiously requests an order that was openly offered by President Zuma’s legal counsel and rejected by the commission.
“While seeking to appear tough and unreasonable, the commission pretends that this is its original remedy, when everyone knows it is an offer they rejected, as they did with all responsible proposals.
“We consider this insincerity to be disturbing at this level and does not correspond to a legal process of this magnitude.
“Once again, we remind the commission that it rejected this offer. We hope that in your selective presentation of the facts to the Constitutional Court, you will be bold enough to admit this fact ”.
