The Frenchman has not tried to force Arsenal’s move despite losing favor

Matteo Guendouzi has not submitted a transfer request to Arsenal at this time ESPN’s James Olley reports.

The Frenchman has been sidelined in the Emirates after he fell out with Mikel Arteta during the Premier League restart in June.

Since then he has not appeared in any of Arsenal’s matches, although Mikel Arteta claims he has a new chance to fight for a place in the team.

When he was initially kicked out of the team, he was reportedly linked to a move towards top teams like Barcelona and PSG.

It was even claimed that he asked the Gunners to sell it. However, ESPN reports that he has not asked to be transferred this summer.

The report insists his future remains uncertain and the club will sell him if the right offer comes in, but it is not close to forcing a pull away from the Emirates at this time.

ESPN’s James Olley tweeted: “I was told that Matteo Guendouzi did not submit a transfer request to Arsenal. His future is still uncertain as the club is willing to listen to offers for him, but nothing is close enough at the moment for Guendouzi to try to leave by force.
