- An anonymous Quora user shared how her cousin canceled her wedding on the wedding day.
- Although there were relationship issues for the US-based couple, the couple continued to take their relationship to the next step by getting married.
- However, one day before the wedding, a wedding rehearsal was held, but the bride did not return after the rehearsal.
- Another cousin went to find the bride and then returned to look for two of his aunts, one of whom is a counselor.
- It turned out that the bride found out that the groom had turned down a promising job for “health reasons” that were completely bogus, so he decided not to marry.
The cousin shares that the girlfriend had been crying and said that she no longer loved her fiancé because he was lazy.
In addition to turning down a job with a false excuse, the groom also yelled obscenities at the bride and accused her of meddling in his affairs.
“The boyfriend faced these accusations, but his family tried to defend him,” shares the cousin.
“We had none of that. We are a close family and we always stand up for ours. The night ended on a pretty bad note, as the groom’s family wanted the wedding to continue.”

“We encouraged the bride to make the best decision that she deems appropriate for her and her future. The next day, the bride said she was not going to go ahead with the wedding. So we went to church dressed in casual clothes and told them to the groom and his family that the wedding was canceled, “he adds.
“The groom’s parents were furious, and we stood our ground. The bride gave him reasons why she didn’t want to marry him. Then they started talking, and the groom said he was being lazy and turned down the job because he expected her to. provide for him while he “rested” after working so long. Both sides were mad at him; even his parents yelled at him. “

It was no longer comfortable for the groom’s family after this, so they decided to go home and the rest of the party stayed. Despite the bombshell the bride dropped, the groom’s family said the bride made the right decision by not going through with the wedding. The ex-girlfriend is now in another relationship with someone else who has a good job.
