Western Cape Emergency Medical Services (EMS) spokeswoman Deanna Bessick said: “EMS received a call regarding an incident that occurred at the Ottery Road detour along the M5, heading towards Ottery around 10:40. This morning The call was reported as a car accident involving two vehicles.
“Upon arrival, paramedics found a woman who had allegedly been stabbed. Unfortunately, the patient had died when paramedics arrived at the scene. Officials from the Forensic Pathology Services are still at the scene.”
