Sheffield United have yet to score a Premier League point this season and their next league game will be tomorrow at Arsenal.
Chris Wilder’s team was one of the most impressive newly promoted teams last season and almost finished the campaign within a European venue.
The Blades had hoped to build on their performances in the English top flight last season this season, but in three league games they have yet to score a point or even score a goal in competition.
They will return to Arsenal’s Emirate Stadium this weekend in hopes of continuing to build on their excellent league record against the Gunners last season.
They beat Arsenal last season at home and drew 1-1 at the Emirates.
He also scored against Chelsea and Tottenham in London and they will revisit the city to play Arsenal and Wilder has remembered scoring points there last season.
“We had a fabulous record, but we need to score points across the board,” he was quoted as saying by Examiner Live.
“When you play with the best teams, the percentages of getting results really go down, although we always believe that we can get a result.
“There are certain teams where you feel like you have a better chance because they are in and around you.
“We certainly had a fabulous record in London and a couple of nights after some brilliant results at Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham and I like that feeling.
“I would love that feeling this weekend because we are all starving for it, not just me, but the players and the fans. We are all working to have that beautiful glow of a result against a higher side.
“But it is another difficult game.”
