Telkom has announced that its Black Friday The sale will be available at 00:01 on November 27, 2020.
The sale will include big cuts in the prices of data packages as well as contracts for new devices, the mobile network said.
“These incredible deals include huge price cuts on data packages, as well as contracts for those in the new device market and everyone else looking to stretch their money for great value deals,” said Telkom.
“All exclusive online offers will end at midnight – 00:00 on December 4, 2020.”
Telkom said it is focusing on its online shopping experience for this year’s Black Friday, as well as offering big savings on mobile data due to evolving customer habits.
“This Black Friday especially is about the greatest value we can offer our customers in the most meaningful way and identify those areas of their lives where savings will have the greatest impact,” said Telkom’s chief marketing officer, Gugu. Mthembu.
“It is the increased demand for data from our customers that has propelled us to the third largest mobile operator position in SA; for that reason, we are listening and we want to continue offering them the most competitive packages on the market ”.
Competition measures and COVID-19
As part of its Black Friday sale, Telkom is running a Facebook, Instagram and Twitter competition with daily earnings in the form of mobile data, starting from 2GB All-Net packages to 11.5GB FreeMe packages.
It will also award the following prizes at the end of the contest:
- 4x Huawei Y7p + 11.5GB FreeMe Bundle
- 2x Huawei B535-932 router + 11.15GB FreeMe package
- Big Black Friday giveaway – 1 TB of mobile data
“Telkom, as a responsible corporate citizen, has implemented strict protocols since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to protect our employees and customers from the spread of the virus,” said Mthembu.
“We will ensure strict social distancing in stores, customers entering and queuing in and out, controlling the number of people in stores at the same time, monitoring shopper temperatures and ensuring that the hygiene protocols of hands and masks “.
Telkom’s call center and online inquiry systems will extend business hours by two hours on Friday, November 27, 2020 and Monday, November 30, 2020 from the regular hours of 08:00 to 18:00 08:00 to 20:00.
