Steve Komphela has thrown a bombshell by allegedly resigning as head coach of the Premiership team Golden arrows after being heavily tied to a move to defend the champions Mamelodi sundowns.

According to a KickOff report, the former Kaizer Chiefs tactician appears willing to move to Chloorkop as an assistant coach to joint head coaches Rulani Mokwena and Manqoba Mngqithi.

The former hinted at the move on Twitter when he sent a mocking tweet to Komphela, 53, with the two known to enjoy an extremely close relationship.
