Stephenie Meyer has good news for die-hard Twilight fans when she announced the fifth book in the vampire fantasy saga on Monday.
The writer of the very popular series, during an appearance in Good morning america, announced that a prequel to The Twilight saga will soon hit the shelves, titled Midnight Sun.
“Good morning America and good morning, especially to any Twilight reader who’s watching,” he said.
“My name is Stephenie Meyer and I am very excited to finally announce the release of Midnight Sun on August 4. It is a crazy moment right now and I wasn’t sure if it was the right time to publish this book, but some of you have been waiting for so long, it didn’t seem fair to make you wait any longer, “he added.
From Edward Cullen’s perspective, the prequel was supposed to be released in 2008, but it was put on ice after a copy of the manuscript was leaked. After that, Meyer decided to release the draft online.
